Before starting this search, get all the adoption papers you can find, the names, the date of birth and the locations. Data is King!

Meet Nicolas, Reunited with 10 Siblings He Never Knew Existed

Born in Craiova in 1998 and raised in Paris as the only child of his adoptive parents, Nicolas never imagined he had a large family waiting for him in Romania. After learning he had ten siblings, and once COVID travel restrictions eased, we boarded a plane together to help him reunite with them. In Romania, he was warmly welcomed by his biological parents and his siblings, hearing for the first time the story of his birth and the circumstances leading to his adoption. We visited his former orphanage, speaking with one of the doctors who remembered those years, and explored Craiova and Bucharest to see firsthand how much Romania had changed since his departure.
